It’s been a while since World of Warcraft’s shapeshifting dragon became the protagonist of its narrative. The film trailer released by the studio today tells the history of the African continent.
Comprising five new areas, Dragon Isles will introduce the Dracthyr, a new playable dragon race that can take on humanoid form. Dracthyr characters can join the Alliance or Horde, and they are the only races that have access to the expansion’s new Evoker class. As an Evoker, you can either specialize in healing your allies or fight as a medium-range damage dealer.
Long Fei Dragoons will also be introduced.although World of Warcraft There have been flying mounts since 2007’s Burning Crusade, and the new expansion looks to add even more dynamism to the event, where dragons can perform special maneuvers in the air. For example, you can use a dive bomb to quickly descend to the edge of a cliff.
In addition to these features, Blizzard says the expansion will bring quality-of-life improvements, including a redesigned user interface that players can personalize to their liking. There’s also a new talent system for class customization and tweaks to game crafting mechanics.
World of Warcraft There’s no release date yet, but Blizzard is expected to share more information about the expansion in the coming weeks and months. The studio announced today that it also plans to re-release 2008’s Wrath of the Lich King for World of Warcraft Classic.
