Assassin’s Creed Origins, one of the best Ubisoft map games of modern times, is coming to Game Pass. But… not anytime soon. Microsoft said it will launch a game-on-demand service “within the next two months.” Meanwhile, the library is being bolstered by a frankly impressive lineup. Here’s everything Game Pass has to offer in the coming weeks.

The biggest news here is the addition of Bugs, developer Young Horses announced last week. (Bugsis free bigsnax i. The expansion was released on the same day, and the memory-heavy puzzler hit Game Pass. ) radish boy tax evasion is a delightful puzzle game about overthrowing the federal government and I’d love to know what soullessan action RPG with moody pixel art about, while forever delivering horror games 7 ways to die.
But it’s hard not to notice the trend here. Last year — and to a lesser extent the year before — Microsoft added can’t-miss titles to its Game Pass library, including blockbusters and indie titles. The strategy has sparked an astonishing increase in the service’s subscription base, the kind of double-digit growth seen only in well-marketed movie and TV streaming services (though Microsoft noted in an earnings report that Game Pass fell short of last year’s) company goals).
So far, 2022’s Game Pass additions have been largely hit or miss. For every previous lineup Guardians of the Galaxy or a death gateand one that barely adds, or worse, launches some of the best games.
On the plus side, at least it means more time to clear old backlogs.
