Meta hid a surprise in the sleeves of its hoodie at the end of its Quest game show. Ghostbusters VR game is being made for Meta Quest 2.Sony Pictures Virtual Reality (SPVR) will release a four-player co-op game by Far Cry VR: Into the Madness Studio nDreams.
Ghostbusters VR (as the game is tentatively called) moves the action from the franchise’s New York City stronghold to San Francisco. Guess you will hunt and trap ghosts with the help of proton packs and particle jets without any prizes. SPVR says the game will have an “extensive and engaging campaign” that you can experience alone or with up to three friends. No release window has been announced, but SPVR says it will reveal more information in the coming months.
Nor is it the only Ghostbusters title. Friday the 13th: Games Developer Illfonic is making Ghostbusters: Spirit Unleashed, This pits a team of four players against the others who control the ghosts. The game is planned for PC, PlayStation and Xbox later this year.
