Codemasters and Electronic Arts have announced the release date of the new official Formula 1 race – F1 22 – Now also available for pre-order.
F1 22 Launched globally on July 1, it will include a new Miami circuit and layout changes to places like Australia and Abu Dhabi, F1 Sprint events and a new era of Formula 1 with overhauled rules.
It will also include PC VR capabilities via the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

Players have the opportunity to go further into the fascinating world of F1 with ‘F1 Life’ – a customisable hub for supercars, clothing and accessories acquired through the game, the Podium Pass and the in-game store.
By pre-ordering the Champion Edition by May 16, players will receive three days of Early Access and a limited-time Miami-inspired content pack.

The matchday changes allow players to customize their gameplay even more with new Immersive and Broadcast options. The immersive mode allows players to take on a risk-reward challenge, while the broadcast mode includes “controlled and realistic cutscenes” to enhance the action.

Adaptive AI challenges inexperienced players, AI racers are tailored to their skill level, and easy-to-access menus and handling also return for players who want to get into the action quickly.
This updated practice plan also offers more variety, and My Team is back – players can now choose a starting budget and three entry scenarios.
Year 10 career mode is also back, as is the two-player career option and epic online multiplayer mode.
