Telltale Games released Borderlands Tales in 2014, telling the story between the events of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands 3, and following two unreliable narrators – Reese and Fiona – While searching for the vault, they came across fan-favorite Borderlands characters like Claptrap.
In our review of the first of five Borderlands Tales, we said: “Just a brief introduction to Rhys and Fiona, who have become my favorite pair of Telltale characters, as well as Zer0 Sum’s The wonderful finale has been anxiously awaiting my journey back to Pandora.”
The Telltale Games of the year no longer exists, and Gearbox Software has instead developed games entirely in-house. 2K Games will be responsible for the distribution.
This new story from Borderlands will follow Tiny Tina’s Wonderland as Gearbox’s next game. In our review of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, we said it’s a fantasy-themed Borderlands spinoff that’s as hilarious as it is action-packed as it is ridiculous, even if it’s a little safe to play. “
