A sketchy rumor suggests that the iPhone 14 may bring back purple for the regular and “Pro” versions of the device when it launches later this year.
As AppleTrack points out:
Rumor: Apple is looking to add new colors and a new flash to the iPhone 14, according to a new rumor posted by Oivo sauce on Weibo.
The report says the new flash is a “small circle within a large circle,” rather than the dual-circle design of the current iPhone 13.
Even more exciting, a fantastic new purple colorway may be on the way, and it may change depending on the lighting:
Apple is also working on a new purple colorway for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro that changes tint based on light. According to rumors, black, white, blue, red and purple will be the color options for the iPhone 14, while graphite, Gold, silver and purple will be available on the iPhone 14 Pro
The purple iPhone 12 is one of the best iPhone colors we’ve seen in recent years, so bringing back purple, especially for both phones, will likely be a hit with customers. Apple has now released new spring iPhone colors for the second year in a row, much to the chagrin of some customers who wished to drop all colors at launch.
The iPhone 14 is expected to debut later this year in its usual window with camera upgrades and a new processor for the Pro models.

Always use protection
Protect your iPhone 11 screen with a screen protector!
Whenever you buy a new iPhone, it’s a good idea to wear a screen protector from the start. If your screen protector cracks, be sure to replace it immediately if you want to avoid scratches and possible cracks.
