Meta held its 2022 gaming showcase last week, kicking off several new virtual reality games in development for the Quest 2 headset. We’ve rounded up our most exciting titles here. To celebrate the event, Meta has slashed the prices of several VR games, which are only discounted on a few occasions each year. So, whether you just bought Quest 2 or just want to add more to your library, check out these deals.
I’ve highlighted some deals that I think are particularly good:

If you’re in the market for a compact yet powerful smart speaker, Google’s Nest Audio might be for you. Normally $99.99, this model has been marked down to $79.99 at the Google Store, Best Buy, and Walmart.
As someone tired of reserving counter space for the giant Google Home Max, upgrading (or technically downgrading) to the smaller Nest Audio was a smart move for me. It delivers clear sound that can get loud without compromising its low-end or high-end delivery, so I didn’t miss out on that more powerful speaker as much as I thought. Read Dan Seifert’s full review of Nest Audio.

Google’s smart speakers sound better than Google Home. Pairing two stereos can provide a better experience while interfering with your favorite music.

Best Buy is running a series of Earth Day sales designed to get you into one of its stores and bring your old computer accessories. If you get a chance this weekend, we have good reason because when you hand over your old PC, the retailer will give you a 20% coupon for new Logitech accessories like the excellent Logitech StreamCam or G435 Wireless Gaming headset or gaming accessories. This in-store offer ends May 6. You can read the details here.
Also at Best Buy, you can trade in an older modem, router, or modem/router combo to get 15% off a new model. This is another in-store-only deal, and unfortunately, Google’s web products are excluded from the deal. However, it should help you get great product prices from other recommended brands in the space (like Eero, Orbi, etc.). Details are here.
Finally, for Best Buy’s in-store Earth Day sale, you can take any hard drive or SSD to the retailer for recycling and get a coupon that will take 10% off the cost of a Western Digital or SanDisk Professional hard drive. Note that these are high-capacity disk drives, not high-speed SSDs. Still, it’s worth it if you need some extra storage for large files. Here are the details, and here are the eligible models that can be discounted.

Google Nest’s battery-powered doorbell is heavily discounted, as are Amazon and other retailers. Normally $179.99 for this slim model, you can buy it in a variety of colors for $149.99. This could be a great product for first-time smart doorbell users. For that, my colleague Dan Seifert praised its excellent people and package detection capabilities, as well as its above-average battery life.
Still, this battery-powered option leaves some features on the table compared to previous generations. That said, it shoots at a lower resolution and lacks 24/7 continuous recording. Still, the deal lessens the sting of those flaws. Read our full review.
Google Nest Doorbell (Battery Powered)
Nest’s latest generation of battery-powered video doorbells are tall and available in a variety of colors: white, ivy, off-white, and linen. The wireless device records 960 x 1280 resolution at up to 30 frames per second with HDR and night vision, and can detect people, animals, vehicles and packages.
