According to the outlet, Sony’s next-generation flagship noise-canceling headphones will have up to 40 hours of battery life. If accurate, that’s a major improvement over the XM4’s impressive 30 hours on a single charge. Fully charging the new model via USB-C reportedly takes about three and a half hours, or about 30 minutes longer than the XM4. The new model is also said to come with an additional ANC processing chip and a new set of drivers.
