The modders responsible for VR mods like Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption 2 are teasing the Elden Ring VR mod, which hints at a whole new scary way to play one of the best RPGs on PC — and more Not to mention the possible Elden Ring first-person mod effects.
There are already a lot of great VR games on PC, but aside from the likes of Skyrim VR, there aren’t many open-world games available for VR enthusiasts. Modder Luke Ross has created mods that make games like Red Dead 2, GTA 5, Cyberpunk 2077 and even No-One Lives Forever 2 playable in VR, and their latest video shows they’ve set their sights on Throwing in Elden Ring.
The trailer below shows Elden Ring’s memorable opening meeting with the anticipation church and grafted scion, all in first-person – apparently it’s also VR, and how UI elements move. Ross calls it a “peeping” of what they’re doing, so it’s impossible to say when the mod will actually be available.
