After leaks earlier this week — and frankly, it’s flying under the radar: Ubisoft’s team shooter is hardly exciting news — the French publisher revealed Project Q, “a A team battle arena that allows players to truly own the experience.” We understand all these words, but we don’t know what they mean in a sentence like this.
Anyway, instead of telling us what game YesInstead, the company has adopted a bold strategy no. This is not a battle royale game, for starters: “The game will feature multiple PvP modes with one goal: fun!” That’s the company’s capital, not ours. There has been speculation that Q might stand for Quartz, the name of Ubisoft’s heavily criticized NFT marketplace. Nuh-uh, “There are no plans to add NFTs to this game”.
So, we heard you heard… 🤷
Release codenamed “Project Q”, a team battle arena that allows players to truly experience! The game is in early development and we will continue to test it, so all you can do now is sign up for the upcoming test: https://t.co/TMRKwiUzbJ pic.twitter.com/hZ40OkPdum
