Sony is looking for a senior executive in PC planning and strategy.
The new position – which will be within PlayStation Global, insists the successful candidate will move to California despite the pandemic – hopes to “bring the best PlayStation experience to markets and channels around the world,” hinting that Sony may be ready Further strengthen its PC business.

“The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic and commercial activities in global channel sales and will provide a single, optimized PC sales growth and commercial plan to the central and regional teams for implementation [and] Identify future sectors and partnerships for commercial growth,” the job advertisement states (thanks to PC Gamer). “The program should support the delivery of agreed key metrics for global channel sales. ”
Responsibilities include leading PC growth and commercial strategy, increasing PC MAU for PC content, and developing and implementing global PC store strategy and processes, and there is some excited fan speculation that we may eventually see Sony games released on both PlayStation and PC systems .
The list comes after PlayStation launched a new tab for its PC port late last year, and follows the arrivals of God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone, and Death Stranding on PC. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will of course appear in the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves series later this year.
