While the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 was convincing during the test, it is a disappointment in its independence. Instead, the Galaxy Watch 5 could ultimately fix this problem, because according to the latest rumors, it should have a better battery life.
- Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 can have a much better battery life
- Both models of Galaxy Watch 5 can have large batteries
- Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Watch 5 in August.
According to the Korean Directory, the smaller Galaxy Watch 5 design will run on a 276mAh battery, which is 29mAh or almost 11% more than the 247mAh battery capacity of the 40mm Galaxy Watch 4. The updated list is suggests that the larger version of the Galaxy Watch 5 will have a 397mAh battery, which is 36mAh more than the current 44mm Galaxy Watch 4’s 361mAh or almost 9% gain.

The new prices point to some pretty impressive upgrades, but these will definitely add a few hours of battery life to Samsung’s upcoming smartwatch and could help extend it. The company could also add a series of steps to extend the battery life of the Galaxy Watch 5 through an updated One UI Watch OS or SoC, which we expect, as the thermometer function was announced in previous rumors.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series is expected to launch alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Fold 4 next August. The launch is therefore still a long way off, and it is expected that more details on the Galaxy Watch 5 and Samsung smartphones will come out.
