The Galaxy S22 FE is not even official, but South Korean media are already reporting that Samsung may move away from its Exynos processor to its flagship smartphones. So, Galaxy S22 FE can be downloaded with MediaTek SoC and reversing this strategy could even extend to the next Samsung Galaxy S23.
That incense burned to Exynos 2200. According to the South Korean site Korean businessSamsung plans to downsize its domestic manufacturers by opting for the next generation of MediaTek chips.
The article Korean business says Samsung plans to use the MediaTek chip on half of the Galaxy S22 FE smartphones to be sold in Asian markets. The remaining devices will most likely use the Snapdragon chipset.

MediaTek chips even the upcoming 2023 flag?
By itself, the transfer of Exynos SoC to MediaTek did not shock me on Samsung’s Galaxy FE line. South Korean media say in each case there will be two models, one MediaTek and the other, which may carry a Snapdragon chip from Qualcomm.
The Galaxy S21 FE was launched last January and has already offered the Snapdragon 888 even in Europe. Similar to Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G including Snapdragon 865 (5G model only).
But the interesting thing is that the above article claims that Samsung can continue this strategy and extend its flagship, to the next Galaxy S23. This will be the first time Samsung has integrated a MediaTek chip into one of its smartphones. Samsung has Taiwanese manufacturer SoCs in its mid-range or even Galaxy A entry level, in general.
Samsung had some issues with the Exynos 2200. The manufacturers have to admit that they are limiting some apps and games, and I personally mentioned some serious performance issues in the review of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. But the manufacturer has also worked hard to fix its problems, launching an update against the GOS (Game Improvement System) in mid-March.
I also talked to a member of the German kwgeek Community, and after re-launching banchmarks, I was able to see a clear improvement. In short, in any case, the debate against Exynos or Exynos is a tradition among Samsung users and critics.
Do you think switching to MediaTek is beneficial for Samsung and its users? What do you prefer: Galaxy S22 FE with MediaTek or Snapdragon SOC?
