Polar has now introduced Pacer and Pacer Pro, two new connected watches for running. The Finnish brand, which specializes in product handling, targets beginners and professionals with new clothes.
- Polar developed the Pacer and Pacer Pro, two smartwatches that specialize in running
- Both newer Pacer models have better screens and faster manufacturers
- The Pacer costs 199.90 euros, the Pacer Pro sells for 299.90 euros
The Finnish company says the two new models include an optimized processor and an accurate GPS that will help runners train. Polar made both smartwatches for runners as simple and easy as possible, with several buttons on the sides. The 1.2-inch non-slip screen is thought to be clear and light in all respects as the Polar has narrowed the gap between the MIP screen and the screen protection compared to the Polar Vantage M2 introduced last year.
In terms of independence, Pacer and Pacer Pro will be able to stay on standby for 7 days and up to 35 hours with GPS and active heart rate monitoring, according to Polar. Fast charging will also be possible using the second generation Polar magnetic charger.

Polar Pacer vs Pacer Pro: What are the differences?
Aside from the price difference of 100 euros, there are very few ways to differentiate between the two types as the size and designs are the same. The Pacer Pro has aluminum aerospace corners and adapters to cover every 20mm belt, but both models have Gorilla Glass 3 protection and WR50 water resistance rating.
What makes Pacer Pro special is the addition of a barometer and a compass. The barometer detects high variability which is important for mountain training. The Pro model also has an endurance feature, which is likely to be similar to what we saw on the Garmin Epix 2. The Polar also mentions the directional guidance and directional features of the Pacer Pro, but not the usual way.

Both smartwatches have Polar’s Precision Prime, VO2Max heart rate technology and shared sleep tracking. You will be able to use Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity to sync your training data and exercise app using Polar Flow on Android or iOS. Music control and notifications, including calls and messages, are also supported.
