When Android 12 was launched, while most eyes were on the new Design Tools, Google also added a few handy features. One of the most lucrative is the new option to quickly share photos and link to the recent abbot screen.
Function may change depending on the Android coating on your smartphone, but with Google Pixels, the instant sharing option can easily be used on a multi-tasking screen, also known as “Apps recentlyby Google:
- Open the screen apps soon
- With directional movement: pull up, hold, then release
- On the navigation bar: Click the Preview button “□“
- Tap the image or link to the logo if needed
- Select the desired option: To share Where To be copied
Available options depend on the content of the app and the support / © kwgeek.
For our experiments, Quick Share was available for apps like Chrome, YouTube (shared instant messaging), Play Store, Files, Photos, and Chat, but not Gmail, Drive, or Calendar.
The feature is ready for developers to add to the app, but with the number of relevant smartphones still low, it is likely that it will take some time for the instant sharing option to become public.
