Ubisoft Assassin’s Creed Origins Microsoft’s Megan Spurr said in a blog post Tuesday that (the ancient Egypt scene) is headed to Xbox Game Pass. Spurr says the game will arrive sometime “in the next two months” and will be playable on console, cloud streamer and PC via the Ubisoft Connect app.
We’ve asked Ubisoft if they could share a more specific date for how long we might expect the game.when contacting edgeSpurr refuses to share additional information beyond the content of the blog post.
Ubisoft already has several other games on Game Pass, including Rainbow Six: Extraction, available on Game Pass on the same day the game was released in January. Ubisoft also plans to bring its Ubisoft Plus subscription service to Xbox at some point in the future. Ubisoft Plus lets you play over 100 Ubisoft games, but it’s a separate subscription to Xbox Game Pass. This is unlike Microsoft’s partnership with EA’s EA Play, which gives Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers access to many EA games, as well as games already on Game Pass.
Spurr’s post also outlines some new games coming to Game Pass, including bed bugs.
Updated April 19 at 5:58pm ET: Spurr declined to share further information.
