Intel Core i9-12950HX with vPRO technology
As ITHome revealed today, at least three of the upcoming 12th Gen Core Alder Lake-HX processors will support vPRO technology.

vPro is a package of technologies designed for the commercial and enterprise markets. They provide easier remote management and a more secure environment, which are often critical for professional work.
The site publishes a list of SKUs for the upcoming Dell Precision 7770 and 7670 laptops (next generation mobile workstation systems):
- i5-12600HX (vPro): 12 cores and 16 threads, up to 4.6GHz
- i7-12800HX: 16 cores, 24 threads, up to 4.8GHz
- i7-12850HX (vPro): 16 cores, 24 threads, up to 4.8GHz
- i9-12900HX: 16 cores, 24 threads, up to 5GHz
- i9-12950HX (vPro): 16 cores, 24 threads, up to 5GHz
Some of the previously leaked “HX” parts are not on this list, such as Core i5-12650HXbut this SKU may be available at a later date or simply not available for those Dell Precision laptops.
Alder Lake-HX processors are an upcoming 16-core/24-thread mobile SKU. They are based on desktop chips with 8 performance and 8 efficient cores. To date, the 12th-gen Core lineup for laptops has been limited to 14 cores and 20 threads, as they’re based on Alder Lake-P mobile chips, with a maximum of six performance cores.
ITHome further states that these Dell systems will come with NVIDIA RTX A5500 or GeForce RTX 3080 Ti 16GB laptop GPUs. These are the latest discrete graphics cards based on the Ampere GA103 GPU.
Neither Dell nor Intel have confirmed a release date for the Alder Lake-HX series, but rumors suggest they could be around May 10, when Asus will hold its product launch event.
