renew [Wed 20th Apr, 2022 16:30] It’s official! Digimon Survive opens in the West a day after its July 29 release in Japan. The update was shared today on Bandai Namco’s YouTube account, and was provided by game producer Kazumasa Habu, who also worked on Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and its follow-up, as well as many other Digimon games.
After years of development hell, we’re excited to see it finally hit consoles worldwide this summer, and even happier that we won’t have to wait long at all.

source article [Mon 18th Apr, 2022 13:50 BST] Bandai Namco’s long-delayed RPG Digimon Survival appears to finally have a release date set for July 28, 2022 (at least in Japan).
This news is expected to be the last hurdle for the game, as it was supposed to launch in 2019.It was then pushed back to 2020, then 2021, and Then By 2022 – crikey. Like many developers, the COVID-19 pandemic appears to have wreaked havoc on the game’s production, with the game’s producer Kazumasa Habu directly sourcing the pandemic when the game was originally announced to be delayed until 2021.
The release date comes from a Japanese magazine, so it’s uncertain whether Digimon Survival will launch globally on the same day. We’ll be sure to let you know once Bandai Namco is confirmed.
