Ecoflow has launched the River 2, its new range of entry-level power stations. The River 2, River 2 Max and River 2 Pro support fast and solar charging and include an LFP battery that lasts up to 10 years. kwgeek details these new power stations.

Ecoflow River 2 is the new economical power station from the Chinese manufacturer. It has a battery capacity of 256 Wh and an output of up to 600 W. It weighs 3.5 kg and is more compact than the First River. Port-wise, the River 2 has a dual AC outlet, a car DC outlet, a pair of full-size USB-A ports, and a USB-C port.
The more powerful River 2 Max weighs almost twice as much as the classic model. However, it has extra AC and USB ports and a more powerful 512 Wh battery. In X-Boost mode, it can generate up to 500W AC or 1000W.

The Ecoflow River 2 Pro is the most expensive of the three, but it also has the highest capacity at 768 Wh. What’s more, the standard power of the River 2 Pro is 940 W AC, but it can be increased to 1600 W. Despite the weight of 7.8 kg, the powerstation is still easy to transport.
According to Ecoflow, all River 2s have an estimated lifespan of 10 years. Thanks to LiFePO4 batteries, they can also maintain 80% capacity after 3000 cycles. The River 2 and River 2 Max can be fully charged in 1 hour, while the River 2 Pro can be fully charged in 10 minutes.
