Galaxy Z Flip 4: The price hike is making a lot of noise
According to a well-known leaker Sultan Shu, Samsung may launch the Galaxy Z Flip 4 at a higher price in Europe. According to the data he shared, the foldable clamshell for the base 128GB model is priced at 1,100 euros (excluding taxes). “We think the Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G was launched last year at 1049 euros.

As for the other variants, the 256GB model costs €1,200, and the new 512GB storage option costs €1,350. According to the leak, the 256GB storage version will see a bigger price increase, as it’s about $100 more expensive compared to last year’s model. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 only offers two storage options, so 512GB would be a welcome addition.
The leak doesn’t mention whether there will be a more expensive custom version. It’s safe to say, however, that Samsung could end up launching a unique variant of the Galaxy Z Flip 4, as the brand has been busy revamping most of its connected devices, including some from earlier this year.
Galaxy Z Flip 4: Pricing in other regions
It’s unclear if the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and other upcoming Samsung devices will see price increases in other regions or countries as well. But given the inflation we’ve been dealing with lately, the South Korean giant may have reason to adjust the prices of its range accordingly.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be released next month alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Buds Pro 2. Both smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, and the Z Flip 4 is expected to feature a larger battery, 25W fast charging and dual cameras.
