The wait could finally end with Garmin’s upcoming fitness tracker, as the official Vivosmart 5 upcoming photos are off the line. These images show a significant increase in Vivosmart 4.
- The Garmin Vivosmart 5 is likely to display a 66% larger screen.
- It probably supports stress monitoring, sleep monitoring, emergency calls, and more.
- Prices and availability have not yet been confirmed
The alleged images of Vivosmart 5 appear directly in the Garmin design studio and it is safe to assume that these are official images rather than just artistic displays. According to these images, there will be some changes compared to Vivosmart 4.

The Garmin Vivosmart 5 will have a gray OLED display that is expected to be 66% larger than its predecessor. We also found that the existing Vivosmart 4 metal accents are missing, perhaps making way for the big screen. The actual thickness of the Vivosmart 5 could also increase, as there is now a visible feature of the sensor housing under the device.

As you can see from the pictures, Garmin has replaced the L-shaped connector at the bottom of the case with the familiar 4-pin connector found in Garmin smartwatches today. This indicates that Vivosmart 5 will be charged with a Garmin 4-pin connector.
PulseOX, heart rate monitor and other health monitoring capabilities should be on board, along with Sleep Points and stress tracking like the Garmin Epix 2 and Venu 2 Plus we tested. Vivosmart 5 can also support sending instant notifications and live GPS location when connected to the Garmin app.
