Previously, when you were in incognito mode, anyone who quit Chrome or locked your smartphone could still access your open tabs. Too bad anyone can access your private label content. To fix this, Google added the ability to lock incognito tabs.
To lock down access to private browsing tabs, follow these steps:
- Open chromium
- Press a button with three vertical dots(⋮) upper right
- go to set up then in Privacy and Security
- Activation/deactivation option Lock incognito tabs when quitting Chrome
Once enabled, you will need to choose an authentication method to access the Private Browsing tab. Note, however, that the normal tabs are accessible to everyone.
