After teasing it on social media, Polyphony Digital has now announced its latest update to Gran Turismo 7. This drop in free content is called the April Update, which means we’re getting some new bits and pieces every month for the foreseeable. Regardless, the update is available starting today, April 25, bringing the game to version 1.13 – let’s see what it includes.
First, the update adds three new cars. They are the Subaru BRZ GT300 ’21, Subaru BRZ S ’21 and Suzuki Cappuccino (EA11R) ’91. You can see each car in action in the video above. You’ll also see the Spa-Francorchamps track – this update adds a 24-hour track layout. Finally, two landscapes will be added to its featured section: Ainokura’s Gassho House and Cherry Blossoms at Night.
However, patch 1.13 doesn’t just introduce this new content. This is part of a larger game update that brings further changes to GT7, including tweaks to sport modes, improvements to car physics, and a slew of bug fixes. The update is 2.6GB on PS5 and 4.6GB on PS4.
