If your goal is to suffer like G as realistically as possible, know that the upcoming House of the Dead remake is aimed at post-release PS Mobile support. The game is a full-blown reimagining of the SEGA arcade classic, and will try to recreate that nostalgic light gun feel by adding optional support for Sony’s penis-shaped wand, which, considering the peripheral is over a decade old, is an appreciable addition.
It’s worth noting that if you plan to play PS4 games on PS5, you’ll need Sony’s camera adapter to use your PS Move on the next-gen console. In our opinion, PS Move has never quite replicated the light gun as it should, as it’s more of a cursor – but it’s clearly more valuable than an analog stick. We’re curious if the game will still support gyroscopic controls, as that seems like a nice middle ground for people who don’t own a Sony motion wand. We’ll find out in a few days, as the remake hits theaters on April 28.
