iOS 16.1 brings Live Activities to compatible iPhones. This feature allows apps to update notifications in real time, such as deliveries, flight data, and more. kwgeek shows you how to activate a Lives event on your iPhone.
For iPhone 14 Pro (Max) users, Live Activity offers additional benefits, such as active displays around dynamic islands. There’s also a shortcut icon to quickly see the status of any action the app is tracking.

At the time of writing this tutorial, application support for this feature is still limited. But once developers get acquainted with the feature, it becomes popular. As always, we can also expect implementations with various qualities. Hopefully Apple won’t allow abuse of this feature.
