The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max can bring great camera upgrades. Recent rumors suggest that the upcoming iPhone benefits are expected to include a new 48MP camera and an unobtrusive design with thinner corners.
- The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max have access to a large camera upgrade
- The main 12 MP sensor can be replaced with a 48 MP sensor
- The iPhone 14 Pro Max would have thinner edges.
For the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, the 12 largest MP sensors can be replaced by a larger 48 MP sensor according to information shared on the Chinese social network Weibo. These details confirm previous claims by leaker specialist Apple Ming-Chi Kuo.
IPhone 14 Pro (Max): Sharp photos but less light?
Apparently, the new sensor will make a big improvement in counting resolution, but will also reduce the pixel size. It is said that the area of the new sensor will be 57% larger while the pixel size will decrease from 1.9µm to 1.22µm, which is a significant reduction.
One of Apple’s goals of taking 48MP liquid for iPhones is likely to produce sharp images with high resolution. The downside to pixel size, however, is that each pixel will capture less light, which can make photos look noisy and dark.

But there are several solutions to this problem, one of which is to have a large lens and therefore a large image module on the back. It will also be up to Apple to find out what software cheats to put in place to overcome this risk similar to what Google did with the Pixel 6 camera.
Another advantage of having a great sensor is that you avoid the hassle when recording videos with a specific resolution. Technically, this new sensor will be able to shoot 8K video as we have seen on Xiaomi 12 and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. However, Apple is unlikely to follow this path, at least this year.

Fold the front and corners of the iPhone 14 Pro Max screen
After a lot of flooding on the iPhone 14, a new picture has appeared on the internet. This time there are new images from the iPhone 14 Pro Max CAD that will show the long-discussed cuts on the screen, in the form of “sound signals”, and the edges are very thin around the 6.7-inch screen.
Edge removal can improve the screen-to-screen ratio of the next iPhone, as its edges will be 20% thinner than those of the iPhone 13 Pro Max, a significant improvement if any. Also according to the presentation, the back image module will be much thicker than expected with the new larger sensors.
