A look at the Los Angeles court filing is enough to know that, at the origin of the legal action, we found a complaint against Zero Labs games by animator and art director Mariel Cartwright and producer Francesca Esquinazzi. If they were thanked for one resignation and the other, their dismissal by the company’s management board was the source of what they believed to be an unfair dismissal. It appears that Mike Z temporarily took full control of the studio’s capital shares through a mutual agreement with employees, and it seemed like it should be partially sold to employees, but that didn’t happen in the end.
