Meta held its 2022 Gaming Showcase full of games you can look forward to playing on your Quest 2 virtual reality headset sometime this year.Last year’s surprise announcement was a VR port Resident Evil 4 (The results were much better than expected), but some great games seem to be must-play experiences at launch. In case you missed the showcase, we’ve rounded up the most important announcements below.
ghostbusters Coming soon to VR
Showcase revealed by Mark Zuckerberg ghostbusters VR games are being developed for Quest 2. There aren’t many details (it’s still in development under the working name), but the game will let players run their own Ghostbusters headquarters in San Francisco. “Stalk, blast and trap ghosts by wielding iconic gear,” reads the official description. No word on a release date.
Mercenary mode is now available in Resident Evil 4
Mercenary Mode has been released by Armature Studio, free update for any purchaser Resident Evil 4 at the Oculus store. This is a time-based challenge mode where your goal is to survive and get the highest score possible. This version of the game features online leaderboards, 20 new challenges and new unlocks, including a big head mode, black and white visuals, and a golden gun skin that you can also use in the campaign.

Cities: Virtual Reality coming soon
If you like city building simulators like SimCity and City skyline On PC, you probably already know Cities: Virtual Reality. It’s designed to provide a more immersive view of the cities you build (and destroy). It’ll be available on April 28th for $29.99, and you can get a 10% discount by pre-ordering it before launch day.
NFL Pro Era looks better than i expected
