Fans finally have more details on D&D’s latest launch set.title Dungeons & Dragons: The Dragons of Storm’s Shipwreck Island. Wizards of the Coast provided scant details during Thursday’s D&D Direct streaming presentation. Titles and pricing were first announced by parent company Hasbro in February.
Note that when Hasbro launched this product, the price listed was incorrect. While the press release is still live, Polygon has confirmed that the new boxed product will be priced at $19.99.
Pictures show that it comes with an introductory rulebook, a dungeon master’s adventure book, a set of blue plastic dice, and some pre-generated character sheets. But the most confusing thing here is the pricing.
Original fifth edition Dungeons & Dragons Starter Set with almost the same amount of stuff. It was released in 2014 with a list price of $19.99. When it launched in September 2019, it was priced at $24.99. You can find it right now on Amazon for $19.92.
