what you need to know
- A new leak reveals the final look of Google’s upcoming Pixel Watch.
- The screen of the rumored smartwatch codenamed Rohan appears to be more curved than previously thought.
- The latest leak suggests that wearables are just around the corner.
The Google Store website has just been redesigned for visitors in the US, UK, Germany and Japan, with a top menu that emphasizes Google’s phones and watches rather than its smart home and other products. The change reflects Google’s new emphasis on wearables, and a new leak gives us our first look at the final design of the Google Pixel Watch.
Courtesy of 91mobiles, the latest leak shows a smartwatch with a screen curvature that appears to extend all the way to its back. As evidenced by the fact that the stem of the digital crown sticks out of the curved part of the screen rather than the case.
Compared with the previous revelations, the seamless integration of the crown and the screen is more obvious this time. The rest of the image backs up early Pixel Watch renders that have surfaced in recent months.

Previous leaks have also suggested that the Pixel Watch is likely to debut at Google I/O in May. Given the event is just around the corner, we may be working on the final design of the wearable.
As you probably know by now, Google’s answer to the best Android smartwatch is codenamed “Rohan.” As previously rumored, it runs Wear OS 3.1. If that’s correct, the Pixel Watch will be a slight downgrade from the Galaxy Watch 4, which currently runs Wear OS 3.2.
The leak also highlights the deep integration of the smartwatch with Fitbit, which was acquired by Google in 2018. We’ll probably hear more when Google I/O kicks off next month.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 4
The latest version of Wear OS is the Galaxy Watch 4. It has a great design, tons of health and fitness features, and is compatible with other Galaxy smartphones.
