Update April 20, 4:12pm ET: Nintendo Switch OLED deals are sold out at Woot.
The Nintendo Switch OLED model has a special one-day deal with Woot today — the site has dropped the device’s price to the lowest price you’ll ever find. Woot is selling a white version of the Switch OLED for $324.99 instead of the usual $349.99 price point. The deal will expire at 1AM ET/10PM PT. While the Nintendo Switch console has been out for a while, it’s a safe bet that this deal will likely sell out before time runs out.
If you’re familiar with Nintendo’s prices, you’ll know that these kinds of discounts don’t come around very often, especially on the premium Switch. The sale puts it at $25 less than the standard model, and if you haven’t gotten into Nintendo’s wildly popular console, the OLED model’s improvements are well worth the money, even if you occasionally play in handheld mode.
Nintendo Switch OLED model (white)
The Nintendo Switch OLED model includes a range of minor improvements, including a 7-inch OLED display, improved audio performance, and a better stand.
As the name suggests, the Switch has a larger 7-inch OLED screen with much better contrast and color quality than the standard model. The stand has also been greatly improved – it’s actually usable – and the overall build feels better done than the standard Switch. Pair that with improved built-in audio and a newer docking station that now supports Ethernet connectivity, and the improved quality of life starts to feel like it’s worth the extra price.
This deal comes just in time for the upcoming Nintendo Switch Sports Released next week, it promises to capture some of them Wii Sports The charm of years ago – now on Switch.
