During the introduction of the major smartphones of the Galaxy, Samsung typically introduced a new version of the Android One UI. The Galaxy S22 line was no exception, with new media, a camera and other features. The South Korean manufacturer has highlighted the new One UI 4.1 and promised to release the app like the RAW Expert on other Galaxy models.

With the release of the Android 12 update faster than in previous years, apparently with more devices compatible with the latest Google OS than its competitors. Samsung has promised that its latest version of its flagship, the One UI 4.1, will reach all its flagship flagship.

The RAW Expert application was delivered to the old flag
The biggest surprise is the announcement of the arrival of the RAW Expert approach to the flagship earlier this year. Now available for Galaxy S21 Ultra and S22, the application will come in S20 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra, Z Fold 2 and Z Fold 3 during 2022.
According to the photo expert, the RAW Expert app “unlocks the full power” of the Galaxy camera, allowing the user to change multiple locations when shooting, and storing images of the RAW file (“digital negative”) which can be maintained for as long as during production.
It may not be a revolution for ordinary photographers, but it is still a great gift for those loyal to the S20 Ultra two years after its release. And who knows, that could be an excuse to delve deeper into advanced camera locations.
Other new features
Samsung has also announced other features that will be available to select Galaxy models, such as the Eraser Item. The imaging device works similar to Pixel 6’s Magic Eraser, allowing the user to respectfully remove unwanted objects, shadows, or even image reflections.
A minor update will also come with the Quick Share feature, with the ability to instantly send multiple files including photos and videos, adding grammar to Samsung’s Keyboard so as not to suggest just improvements but also improve your writing, and the new collaboration options of Google Two
One UI 4.1: Smartphones that will receive updates
Unlike the launch of Android 12, Samsung has not decided on a launch schedule for the One UI 4.1, but has announced models that will receive an update within a year:
It should be noted that not all models will get the same functionality, the Eraser product is only supported on the S10 series and above for example.
