Signify has just released new Philips Hue products, wisely expanding its range of connected lighting. For example, Philips Hue Perifo is a new rail system that gives you countless design possibilities. kwgeek has taken care of the new connecting lights in the Phillips Hue collection for you.
Yesterday, Signify invited us to the launch of the new Philips Hue product, and we were able to make a first impression on the scene in Hamburg. The track system called “Perifo” was exciting, but the manufacturer also showed off a portable desk lamp and a very nice faux sunrise light scene.

Philips Hue Perifo: a new track system for versatile lighting designs
Connected lighting also means you can light your home however you want. It should work perfectly with the Philips Hue Perifo track system. Beginning in late summer, you’ll be able to buy kits such as suspensions, light bars, gradient tubes or spotlights. The kit already includes the first rail, but you can extend the system to walls and ceilings as needed.

In addition to the rails, there are brackets that allow you to mount the system at an angle, such as an L-shape or a U-shape. The Perifo rail system can also be used to mount on ceiling sockets, on the wall or flexibly use the supplied power unit at each power socket.

As a result, you will have a truly versatile lighting system that allows you to be your own lighting designer at home. Assembly is very simple as all you have to do is push the individual light fixtures into the track by applying light pressure. We tried it, and even me, with my two left hands, couldn’t go wrong. The Perifo system will be available from late summer in a choice of black or white. You will find an overview of all prices at the end of the article.
Philips Hue Go: a mobile desk lamp for indoor and outdoor use

I almost prefer the portable desk lamp called the Philips Hue Go. This table lamp is also available in black and white. Thanks to the metal, it is very imposing and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Not even a gust of wind can overcome this lamp. Additionally, the light is IP54 certified, so it can withstand a downpour thanks to its splash protection.
This light is very practical: just place it where you want it without worrying about annoying cables. Depending on the light settings, it will stay on for up to 48 hours before needing to return to the charging station. If you opt for party lighting that flashes to the beat of the music, it will take at least six hours to charge. You can control the Philips Go via the app, or use the switch on the top to switch between predefined lighting scenes.

A flashing signal will warn you that the bulb needs to be charged. At this point, I prefer to pinpoint the remaining autonomy. But maybe we’ll see it in the future, at least in apps. Once the light is placed on the base, it automatically charges and takes three to four hours to recharge. From late summer, you can also buy a Philips Hue Go table lamp for less than 150 euros.
Philips Hue Gradient Signe Oak: new wood-look floor and table lamps

With its Gradient lamps, Signify has launched a very exciting Philips Hue range which has just been expanded with “Philips Hue Gradient Signe Oak lamps”. The base is designed in wood, so it is destined to be the eye-catching focal point in the room. As with other Gradient fixtures, you’ll be able to use many different lighting scenarios through the app to always create the perfect ambience. Artificial sunrises are also part of that, which we’ll discuss later. Floor and table lamps will be available starting June 21st.
Philips Hue Tap Dial: Connected multifunction light switch
I also really like this gadget because of how simple it works. The Philips Hue Tap Dial is a switch that lets you turn on or dim your lights when mounted on a wall. You can also use magnets to attach it to the refrigerator, or place it on a table for easy access.

The switch has four buttons as well as a rotary ring, and buttons can be assigned individually. So, for example, the switch can control different rooms or parts of rooms, or select lighting scenes for individual buttons. This ring will allow you to continuously change the brightness. The connected switch will also be available starting June 21st.
‘Natural Awakening’: New Automations to Make Your Awakening Even Sweeter
Not the new light, but the new situation hidden behind the “natural awakening”. This new automation should help you start your day smoothly by simulating an artificial sunrise. It is optimized for all gradient lighting, and the wake-up time can be set between 5 and 60 minutes. The scene starts out as a soft blue and then turns into a soft orange.
