Razer introduces the stylish new Leviathan V2 gaming soundbar, which improves your PC setup in every possible way with a multi-driver PC sound system and subwoofers including THX Spatial Audio and Razer Chroma RGB.
Whether you’re gaming or watching a movie, the Leviathan V2 will give you a rich and detailed audio experience with unparalleled audible and visual immersion, while incorporating the unique personalization of Razer Chroma RGB. Builds a large immersive soundstage in a small basic installation space. With crystal clear highs and deep, punchy bass, you can immerse yourself in movies, games and music.
The Bluetooth connection to the PC is smooth and neatly placed on the desktop. You can light up the space around your desk with the built-in “Razer Chroma RGB” unique to Razer devices. In addition to the RGB lights, there is also the Razer program “Razer Synapse” available, which can be operated with manual actions such as audio settings. The driver consists of a full-range speaker, a tweeter, a passive radiator and a subwoofer with a frequency response of 45Hz to 20kHz. The external dimensions of the soundbar body are 500mm wide, 91.3mm deep, 84mm high and 1.4kg in weight. The subwoofer is 220mm wide, 220mm deep, 241.5mm high and weighs 3kg.
Other key features of the Leviathan V2 gaming soundbar include:
- Multi-driver PC soundbar and subwoofer for clear highs and deep, punchy bass
- THX Spatial Audio provides a wide, lifelike soundstage
- Compact desktop form factor for room-filling sound and minimal footprint
- Bluetooth 5.2 for seamless connection between PC and mobile devices
- Powered by Razer Chroma RGB for greater customization and immersion
- Razer Mobile App and Razer Synapse for a truly personalized experience
Using unique THX spatial audio technology, the soundbar produces spatial sound. Razer acquired THX in 2016 and has since become increasingly reliant on its own product certification, although it must pass the same tests as products from other manufacturers. Additionally, the Leviathan V2 uses 18 lighting zones for the Razer Chroma RGB, each of which can be individually controlled and provide lighting effects such as patterns or dynamic lighting effects in-game.
External devices such as smartphones can connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.2 to play their content through the speaker. Razer has also adopted a low-latency option for the soundbar, which should allow for a small offset of only 60ms between image and sound – typically around 180ms. The soundbar transmits sound from the PC via USB-C and offers a USB-C to USB-A connection. Volume controls, power on/off and Bluetooth connectivity controls are located on the top of the soundbar. The sound bar is 500 91.3 84 mm (LWH) and weighs 1.4kg. The soundbar’s feet can be removed to allow for adjustments under the display and to modify the tilt angle.
In addition to the soundbar, Razer also includes a subwoofer that weighs 3kg and measures 220 220 241.5mm (LWH). A cable connects the subwoofer to the soundbar.
The Razer Leviathan V2 is now available directly from Razer and the store for €249.99 (MSRP).
