Unsurprisingly, Samsung is gearing up for the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 this summer, and as part of its preparations, Samsung has decided how many units to produce in July ahead of the launch of the two new models.
According to DSCC’s Ross Young, a well-reputed source on all display and foldable-related products, Samsung expects the upcoming device to be more sought after than its predecessors, the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3.
Samsung produced more than twice as many Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 phones as the Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 in July. This indicates a very strong launch. May see price cuts.

That’s because the company is said to be poised to produce more than twice as many products in July — more than double the number of Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 last year. Clearly, there is some expectation here that new products will fly off the shelves more often.
Which got us thinking like Mr. Young: Does this mean Samsung will make the new Fold and Flip cheaper than their predecessors? Only time (and future rumors) will tell.
