Sony is reportedly working on bringing ads to free PlayStation games, reports say Insider. These ads will appear in-game and are designed to give game developers a way to monetize their work and encourage them to continue developing free-to-play games.
In-game ads are expected to launch by the end of this year and will appear in inconspicuous places within the game, such as billboards.
