Splatoon 3 One of the most important Switch releases of the year, and now Nintendo continues to flesh out the confirmed schedule with a release date – September 9.
It always looks like a good “summer” candidate (although this is late in the northern hemisphere season), with colorful looks and cheerful action. The announcement came with a detailed look at the Turf War game (above) and a few other details:
exist Splatoon 3, online 4-v-4 turf battles can create intense competition in a mix of new and returning stages, where four-player teams face off to cover where they have the most ink. Newly discovered footage provides insight into one of the new stages, the Eeltail Alley, as well as what the stringer will look like – a new bow weapon type that allows you to throw ink both laterally and vertically. You can check out all of this, along with some new gear and info, by visiting the Nintendo YouTube channel.
In addition to crazy 4-v-4 multiplayer matches, Splatoon 3 Also features a brand new single player campaign and the next iteration of the co-op salmon run mode. In single-player story mode, you’ll join Agent 3 against unruly Octarians and uncover the secrets of a mysterious place called Alterna and Fuzzy Ooze. As you sneak into Salmon Run, you’ll join your teammates against waves of dangerous Salmonid bosses, some of them huge!
Let us know what you think in the comments – are you going to take this up in September?
