Riot Games just revealed the newest agent for its popular tactical shooter.Show off your skills in the finals brave Sunday’s Reykjavik Masters, Fade is a mysterious bounty hunter from Turkey. “I’ve seen your darkest fears,” she declared ominously in her agent’s trailer. “Mine will eat them alive.”
When designing Fade, Riot’s Nicholas Smith said the studio’s intent was to create a foil for Sova, who was previously the only scouting-focused agent in the game. “Fade brings scouting to the individual level and is more effective locally,” Smith said. “Ghost” is one of her primary abilities, allowing you to throw an orb that shows the location of enemy agents within her line of sight. Fade also has an ability called the Prowler, which sends out a creature that seeks out enemy agents. If an enemy player is hit by Nightmare, they are temporarily short-sighted. Fade can also use her Seize ability to temporarily immobilize enemies.
Fade will join brave Riot is expected to release next week with the release of Episode 4, Act 3.
