Earlier this week, a new Nintendo leak allegedly surfaced online – suggesting a Game Boy Advance emulator is working for the Switch Online service.
If you’re still not entirely convinced, Modern Vintage Gamer has now watched his latest YouTube video. In short, he’s also convinced that the GBA emulator codenamed “Sloop” was also developed by Nintendo, or at least by NERD (aka Nintendo’s European R&D team).
“All in all, yes – I do believe that Sloop was developed by Nintendo… Nintendo is very embarrassed by the revelation of this leak.”
Of course, while this seems like a legitimate Nintendo leak, keep in mind that there’s no guarantee that Nintendo will actually release this public, or that it’s supposed to test the game for the same emulator.
