According to renderings made by designer Ian Zelbo, the corners of the iPhone 14 Pro may be rounder than those of the iPhone 13 Pro. This design change will be made to accommodate the larger rear camera system expected to appear on the phone. Zelbo does his job by analyzing CAD renderings and dimensions, as well as studying images of parts production molds.
The “scaled” rendering of the iPhone 14 Pro created by Zelbo appears to have the same radius as the iPhone 13 Pro. The rounder iPhone 14 Pro corners may be related to the new 48MP camera sensor that supports the iPhone 14 Pro’s wide-angle lens. The sensor is 57 percent larger than the sensor used on current iPhone 13 Pro models. According to MacRumors, another possible reason for the rounder corners of the iPhone 14 Pro could be a change to the phone’s display, which replaces the TrueDepth camera. The notch on the model is expected to be replaced by a central pill-shaped front cutout and hole punch. Switching to this setting will cause Apple to reduce the bezel size by 20%.

The reduction in bezel size may have been accompanied by cries from Apple fans over the past few years. But changes like this this year could force Apple to revamp the iPhone 14 Pro. By the way, the iPhone 14 doesn’t have the same rounded corners, suggesting that the different corners could be another difference between the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models.

With the iPhone mini series coming off shelves this year, we expect to see the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, 6.7-inch iPhone Max, 6.1-inch iPhone Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone Pro Max. Since the non-Pro and Pro models have the same screen size (for example, the iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max will both have 6.7-inch displays), Apple will have to rely on other differences to give consumers a chance to spend the extra money on the Pro model Differences in motivation and design may be one of those motivations.
A more detailed render, created by Zelbo, will reportedly debut soon in an upcoming YouTube episode from a select tipster. If Apple wants the iPhone 14 series to be as popular as the iPhone 13 series, Apple will work on it
