Improved ECG sensor on Fitbit Sense 2
according to 9to5Google, Fitbit is said to have now integrated the ECG sensor used to measure AFib into the bezel of the screen – if you look closely, you can see the point of contact. Compared to the split finish of its predecessor, the latest design features uniformly rounded sides. Overall, the new smartwatch has the same square shape.

It was previously reported that Fitbit will get rid of the capacitive touch of the Sense 2 and replace it with touch buttons. As seen in one of the images, the Fitbit Sense 2 will also feature a redesigned baseplate and two additional metal arches. It’s unclear if these will be used for new measurement sensors or to upgrade one of the current components. I think the sensor is for EDA measurements. Regardless, the device has been confirmed to maintain its water resistance as well as temperature sensor and GPS functionality as suggested by the printed markings.

As for the Versa 4, the more affordable smartwatch will also feature a slightly rounded case with a touch button on the left. The sensors on the back have barely changed. So at this point, the Sense 2 is likely to get a sensor update, while the Versa 4 has a similar feature set to the Versa 3.
