Back in March, Google introduced the ability to pay for public parking with your voice. As part of this feature, the Google Assistant has added a “Your Vehicles” setting. Meanwhile, the Google app has tweaked its preferences.
The last item in the Google Assistant settings on Android is now “Your Vehicles”.
Your vehicle registration details for parking
This page will list the license plates you’ve added to Google Assistant, Maps, or Google Pay (the GPay app). Parking services require this information as part of the payment process.
You can delete any car and edit or update details like the vehicle’s nickname. Finally, you can also “Add a vehicle” from this page.
Meanwhile, after a small tweak to the Google app, the settings page was reordered, with Assistant appearing at the very top. Not far behind are notifications and voice, with Universal (for Google apps) now in fourth place.
Completing this list are: Language and Region, About, Search Widget, Channels and Interests, Hide Explicit Results and Personal Results. This change was made using Google Apps 13.17, which is currently in the beta channel.
