With One UI, it is very easy to hide your phone number to make hidden calls with your Samsung smartphone. We explain how in this quick tutorial.
This One UI trick works on all Samsung Galaxy smartphones, but the labels for some settings may vary depending on the age of your model.
- Openphone application
- Press the top rightthree dots icon and select set up
- press More settings
- choose show my caller id.
- You have three options here: Network default settings (the network operator decides whether to show the numbers or not), no way and still. choose no way
It’s all here. If you’re on an older Galaxy smartphone (like the Galaxy S9+ used here), the caller ID menu says “Hide Number” and “Show Number” instead of “Never” and “Always”, but of course Means the same thing.

When you visit the more settings menu, you can see in the info text if number hiding is active. If you want to show the number again, just follow the steps above again and select “Always” or “Show Number”.
