Update: We had to update the post because Wccftech confused the dates for the A580 and A380.
Initial Intel Arc Desktop Release and Pricing Emerge
According to a recent report from Wccftech citing their own sources, Intel has just provided a new release schedule for its Arc Alchemist desktop card.
Intel has reportedly not confirmed an exact release date to its partners, but the new cards are expected to launch between late May and early June. Two graphics cards will be released at that time: Arc A780 and Arc A380. Also, the mid-range GPU A580 is said to be launched in a few weeks, most likely in July.
It’s important to note that this is not the release date, but the time the card was announced. The sales embargo was mentioned between May 15th and June 30th. Companies usually announce their products about two weeks before they go on sale.
Interestingly, the site has initial pricing information for all three cards.this Arc A750 will reportedly cost $350,and A580 possible retail $280. The cheapest card mentioned in the report is the Arc A350 $150 price.
While Intel has yet to confirm its desktop Arc lineup, it now appears that at least seven SKUs are to be expected. Initial release does not include A780, A770, A350 and A310 SKUs.
Intel says the desktop Alchemist GPUs will be available this summer, but the company has never provided an exact launch date.
