It looks like Gotham Knights may be expanding its co-op program to include four-player co-op, not just two.
That’s according to a keen-eyed fan on Reddit (thanks PCGN) who discovered that the PSN store’s list of games has been updated to support “four network players.”

Keenly aware that anyone can knock out fake screenshots, I took the liberty to check the PSN store listing and yes it’s in black and white, despite the description itself oddly still saying you can play “single player or with one person” “Other heroes, wherever you find it, can be involved in criminal activity”.
Given that you can play four characters – Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood or Robin – the change makes sense – but so far it’s been advertised as featuring a two-player co-op model, which This difference has led to speculation that the four-player mode may be different from or in addition to the main event. Hopefully we’ll find out more at next month’s Summer Games Festival.
Gotham Knights, the next game from Batman: Arkham Origins studio Warner Bros. Montreal, will be the team’s first full release in eight years. It is scheduled for release on October 25, 2022. A playtest was allegedly added to Steam last month and then immediately removed — or hidden from public view anyway.
Despite leaving no trace on Steam – a Reddit thread about the beta was also pulled from Reddit because “automated bots thought it might be spam” – the app’s details are still available on Steam DB To, this is a website that has nothing to do with Steam but monitors and shares information about the backend of the PC platform.
