This new encounter between Mario World and Rabbit World pits our hero (and Bowser) against an evil entity called Cursa, whose minions attack Sparks, creatures born from the fusion of Lumas and Rabbids . The game, directed by Ubisoft Milan, is still presented as a tactical adventure, but its world is now free to explore, while certain characters will offer side quests under the pretext of searching the smallest corners of these landscapes, from beaches to mountains past by ruins.
Teams of three, teams of nine characters can also be played in real-time in tactical battles. In addition to utilizing the weapons and skills unique to each character, the player must also utilize the environment to optimize his strategy, especially cover. Sparks can also function on the battlefield, and seem to double as elemental ammo.
In addition to the two videos, Ubisoft has also revealed the three composers responsible for the sequel’s music. Grant Kirkhope (Banjo-Kazooie), who was already in the 2017 game, joins Gareth Coker (Ori and the Blind Forest) and the outstanding Yoko Shimomura, and this isn’t our first touch with Mario, as we owe him the inclusion of Mario and Luigi game.
