In fact, we’ll find 2K11’s challenges completely reworked and rewarded with five new events, which will lead to updated venues, players, kits, broadcasts, and especially the playstyle features this time around. Before each challenge, pregame interviews are conducted with people of different personalities (from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to Dennis Rodman, through coach Phil Jackson) to establish the context of the game. Also relies on video filters to find the characteristic image grain of the 80s/90s, and the presence of Mike Fratello, known as the Czar, on the comment table to interrupt with his anecdotes Contest.
On the AI side, we promise to adjust marking in real time when Jordan is on fire, and emphasize physical play in the mid-range and near the rim, away from the current 3-point bombing. Competition with other superstars will also be highlighted, with particular attention to the attitudes of Birdie, Magic and Isaiah Thomas.
Each of the 15 challenges will be based on three goals to be achieved, with a star at the end. Accumulating 40 stars will unlock exclusive rewards in MyTEAM and Legendary Career modes, just to show off cosmetics in front of other players. Lastly, please note that this mode will be available in all versions of the game and is still officially slated for September 9th on multiple platforms.
