Most of the specifications of the first Nothing smartphone have been revealed ahead of its official launch next week. Multiple sources—including a prominent leaker and the manufacturer itself—suggest that the Nothing Phone (1) may finally live up to the hype.

On Nothing’s official Tiktok channel, we can see a demonstration of the fingerprint sensor under the screen (UD) of the Nothing Phone (1). According to the video clip, the display sensor will be placed in the bottom center. It also shows a very quick unlock gesture. A growing number of experts believe the sensor will use ultrasonic technology similar to more expensive models like the Galaxy S22.
Twitter leaker Mukul Sharma has shared a document that discusses the charging capabilities of mid-range smartphones. The listing says the Nothing Phone (1) will come with 33W wired fast charging. Will be sold separately.

Other specifications of the Nothing Phone (1) include a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 4,500mAh battery with a 50MP primary sensor and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The mid-range smartphone will feature up to 12GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 778G+ 5G SoC, and a unique Glyph interface.
In terms of price, the smartphone is rumored to be priced around 470 euros in Europe, according to the Amazon listing. Meanwhile, Nothing has confirmed that its Phone (1) will not launch in the US.
