Android 13 is on the way, and with it comes the deployment of Samsung’s next overlay, OneUI 5. Since Samsung’s update policy is very clear, it’s easy to predict the list of eligible Galaxy smartphones to receive the update to Android 13 based on One UI 5.
Samsung guarantees at least three years of major Android updates for its flagship smartphones and up to four years of security updates for its most recent smartphones. On top of that, Samsung also provides five years of security patches for the “Enterprise Edition” series of flagship and mid-range smartphones, mainly for the commercial market.
Last year, Google released Android 12 in October, and we expect Android 13 to be released between September and October 2022. According to Samsung’s update history, the first devices to get One UI 5’s new features will be the Galaxy S22 series and the latest foldable smartphones. We can count on deployment during December 2022.
To make a list of Samsung smartphones that will receive the One UI 5 and Android 13 updates, we relied on three main sources. Samsung’s update policy, update history for previous models, and announcements on the manufacturer’s official page.

that’s it! Keep in mind that this list will be regularly updated with new devices and information about Samsung’s smartphone OS update schedule. If your Galaxy smartphone isn’t on the list of eligible devices for the update, don’t worry, as it’s not yet an official Samsung option – it should be released sometime between late November and early November.
