Google’s Pixel 7 Ultra, codenamed Lynx, was first reported two months ago. But there have been no substantive details since. Fortunately, a new rumor from Weibo and published by a digital chat station has just revealed new information about the smartphone.
- New Pixel 7 Ultra details have emerged
- Pixel 7 Ultra is said to have a 50MP main camera and a 64MP telephoto lens
- Whether the Pixel 7 Ultra will actually be released is unknown
Foxconn made two smartphones that Google didn’t know about, the sources said. One is the so-called Pixel 7 Ultra, and the other is Google’s first foldable smartphone. As for the Ultra model, it is said to have a 2K punch-hole screen and ceramic casing, as well as SoC Tensor 2, and it will also feature the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.
Interesting is the choice of camera sensor. Specifically, it will be a 50 MP ISOCELL GN1 main camera with a periscope and multifocal lens. Instead, the current Pixel 6 Pro uses a 50MP main camera, but it’s limited to a single focal length. The other sensor mentioned is the Sony IMX787 (64MP), which, as the leaker speculates, could be used as a secondary telephoto lens. Kuba Wojciechowski.

Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro: release date
Google is rumored to launch the Pixel 7 series on October 13 Front Page Technology. As a result, the manufacturer will release its new flagship earlier than last year’s Pixel 6. Expected features include a new SoC Tensor 2 as well as a new camera.
